Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of TifoSports ("we", "us"), the sports data service at www.tifosports.com. By creating an account or using an API key you accept them.

1. Who may use TifoSports

• TifoSports supplies sports data to businesses. You confirm at signup that you sign up for a business and that you are 18 or older. The service is not offered to consumers.
• We do not take bets and do not run a sportsbook.

2. Your account and API key

• Give your real company name and website at signup. One trial per company: we may stop a key made to get a second one.
• Each account has one API key, shown once when it is made. Keep it secret; anything done with your key is your responsibility.
• If a key leaks, revoke it and make a new one in your dashboard, or write to us. We may revoke a key that is shared, leaked or misused.
• Keep your account email current: we use it for sign-in, payment and service notices.

3. Plans and payment

• Trial: 14 days of Pro at no charge, once per account and once per company. The days start at your key's first API call (a REST call or a socket login), not at signup. A payment made during the trial starts when the trial ends. When the trial ends without one, the key stops until you pay for Pro.
• Pro: every event, paid in advance for a calendar month (from a day to the same day of the next month) or a year (twelve such months), in cryptocurrency through our checkout, at the price shown on the pricing page when you open the payment. An open payment keeps its price; a new price applies from your next payment, never to a period already paid.
• Renewing: you may pay the next month or year at any time; it starts when your current period ends. You choose monthly or yearly at each payment; a switch takes effect at the next period, with no credit for the current one.
• When Pro starts: as soon as your payment is seen on the network, before it confirms. If the payment does not confirm (for example the transaction is replaced or dropped), we take back the days it gave and your next payments give Pro only once they confirm.
• Payments are final. Cryptocurrency payments cannot be reversed, so we do not give refunds, including for a period you use only in part (the one exception is in section 9).
• No contract, no minimum term. Cancelling means not renewing. If you do not renew, your key keeps Pro for 7 days after the paid period, then stops until you pay. A payment made in those days starts at the end of the paid period.
• Payment mistakes: a payment that is short, late, sent twice or on the wrong network is matched where we can and support contacts you; we help, but cannot guarantee recovering funds sent to a wrong network or address.
• Receipts: every confirmed payment has a receipt with the details you give us. A pro-forma invoice is not a receipt.
• Your funds: you confirm that the funds you pay with are lawfully yours and not the proceeds of crime or subject to sanctions.
• You pay any network fees of your payment, and any taxes that apply to you.

4. Limits

Every key, in the trial and on Pro, has the same limits to protect the service: 120 REST requests a minute, 2 open sockets, and 30 days of settled events. A request over a limit is refused, not charged; a socket over the limit closes your key's oldest one. A key works only from the one IP address you set on your dashboard; we may add a second on request.

5. What you may do with the data

• You may use the data in your own products and operations: show it to your users, price and settle bets, run your sportsbook, app or website, and keep the data you received.
• You may not resell, sublicense or pass on the feed itself, or offer it to others as a data feed or API, whether as received or repackaged. Keys are for your own business only.
• The data is licensed to you while your key may see it; it is not sold to you.

6. Your obligations

• You are responsible for holding every licence your market requires and for using the data lawfully, including the gambling and consumer laws that apply to you.
• Do not try to get around the plan, the limits or the security of the service, and do not use it to harm us or others.

7. The data

• Odds, fixtures, scores and results come in part from third-party sources. We process and deliver them as received and do not guarantee that every price, score or result is complete, correct or on time.
• Check the data before you rely on it for payouts. You decide how your business settles bets.

8. Availability and changes

• We work to keep the service running but do not promise any uptime or speed. It may be interrupted for maintenance, upstream problems or events outside our control.
• We may change the service. Changes that break existing integrations are announced in the documentation before they take effect wherever we can.

9. Suspension and ending

• You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account in your dashboard settings, or ask us to.
• We may suspend or close an account, or revoke a key, if these terms are broken, if a key is misused, or if the law requires it. If we close your account without a breach on your side, we refund the unused days of your paid period.

10. Liability

• The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or losses from bets placed, priced or settled with the data.
• As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date below shows the current version; important changes are also sent to your account email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
