Pricing questions
Are settlements really included?
Yes, settlement is part of the feed, not an add-on. Each outcome is pending until the match decides it, then won, lost or void (a push is void: stake back). The trial is full Pro, settlement included, so you can build your grading on real results before you pay.
Do live markets settle before the match ends?
Yes, where a goal or score already decides them: Over 2.5 once the third goal is in, Both Teams to Score once each side has scored. If a VAR check is open, the markets it touches wait until it closes. Player markets settle after the match, once the final read is in.
Why does it cost less than other sportsbook feeds?
Sportsbook feeds start around $5,000 a month, sold through demo calls, contracts and bank transfers; Pro is about 85% less. We have none of that: no sales team, no contract, no onboarding project. You look, you test, you pay, and your key upgrades itself.
How fast can I start? Do I need to talk to anyone?
No call, no form. The live board is open on this site right now. Sign up and your API key is on the dashboard straight away; its first API call starts 14 days of full Pro, and the same key goes on as soon as your payment is seen on the network.
How does the free trial work?
Your key gets 14 days of full Pro: every event in every sport, REST and WebSocket, settlement included. The days start at the key's first API call (a REST call or a socket login), not at signup, so you can read the docs and plan the work first, then test the socket on busy weekend evenings. One trial per company, no payment to start. After it, pay to go on with the same key, or the key stops.
Why does a key work from one IP only?
You set your server's IP on the dashboard, and the key answers only there, on every REST call and socket login. A leaked key is useless anywhere else. Need a second IP for a backup server? Write to us.
How do I pay? Do I need a bank?
You pay in crypto, from your own wallet or an exchange: Bitcoin. No bank transfer, no card, from any country. Prices are in USD; the checkout shows the exact coin amount. Pro starts as soon as your payment is seen on the network.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No. You pay by the calendar month or the year. If you do not renew, Pro stays on for 7 more days, then the key stops until you pay; it is the same key when you do.
Which sports, leagues and markets are covered?
Every sport, country and competition in the catalogue is listed on the coverage page, read from the feed itself. The live board shows today’s events with their markets.
What happens when my month or year ends?
We email you 7, 3 and 1 day before the end. Renew any time, even early: the new month or year starts when the current one ends, so you never lose a day. If you do not, Pro stays on for 7 more days (paying in those days still starts at the old end); then the key stops until you pay again.
REST or WebSocket: which should I use?
Both come with Pro and the trial. Take a REST snapshot to load events, then stay on the WebSocket to get every price, score and settlement change as it happens.
What does Pro cost?
Pro is $750 a month, or $7,500 a year: 2 months free, $625 a month, you save $1,500. No per-sport fees and no add-ons.
Monthly or yearly: can I switch?
Yes, at your next renewal: pick the other one when you pay. The new period starts when the current one ends; there is no switch in the middle of a period and no credit for it.
Can I get a refund?
No. Crypto payments are final, so there are no refunds; the one exception is if we close your account without a breach on your side (see the terms). Nothing renews by itself: to cancel, simply do not pay the next month. Try everything in the 14-day trial first; it is the same feed.
Is it a subscription? Will you charge me again?
No automatic charge: a crypto payment cannot be pulled from your wallet. You pay each month or year yourself, after our reminder; you can switch the reminders off on your billing page.
Which coins and networks?
Bitcoin. On chain, no Lightning. The coin amount is held for 30 minutes.
How long until Pro? What does "confirming" mean?
Pro starts as soon as your payment is seen on the network. It is final once the network confirms it: usually 10 to 30 minutes for Bitcoin. Until then your billing page says "confirming". If a payment does not confirm (the transaction is replaced or dropped), Pro pauses and we email you.
Who pays the network fee?
The sender pays the network fee, on top of the amount. The price on this site is what has to arrive.
Can I pay from an exchange?
Yes. Set the amount the address must receive (the fee comes on top), and send it on the network the checkout shows. A payment up to 3% short still counts in full.
What if I pay too little, too late or twice?
Nothing is lost. Short: send the rest to the same address before the time ends; after it, support contacts you. Late: a full payment within 2 hours of the invoice time still counts at the held price; later, support contacts you. Twice: both count, as two periods or as an extra support settles with you.
What if I send on the wrong network?
Write to support with the invoice number and the transaction. We help, but cannot promise to recover funds sent to a network or address the checkout did not show.
Do I get an invoice or a receipt?
Every confirmed payment gets a receipt (PDF) with your company details: add them on your billing page. Your finance team can download a pro-forma before you pay.
What if the price changes?
An open payment keeps its price, and a period already paid is never charged again. A new price applies from your next payment.
Who runs the checkout? Is it safe?
Our own checkout on our own domain, running BTCPay Server: open source and non-custodial. The money goes straight to our wallet; no payment company stands between us, and no one at a payment company sees your details.
Is there an uptime SLA?
Not at launch. We would rather show you the feed than sign a number: GET /v1/status tells your system whether the feed is up, and every WebSocket channel sends a heartbeat every 10 seconds, so you know at once when to stop taking bets.
Can I resell the data?
You can use it in your own product: your sportsbook, app or site. You cannot resell or pass on the raw feed, and a key is for one business.
Do I need a licence?
That depends on your market and is your responsibility, however you pay. We supply data to businesses; we do not take bets.
